At South Stradbroke Island Resort we specialise in small meetings from 10 to 80 people and offer a very relaxed atmosphere... with no distractions! After the hard work is done, enjoy the hospitality of the resort and experience the wonders that South Stradbroke Island offers. Whether team building, or as a reward for hard work, your delegates and employees will benefit from the experience of our staff. With an ability to coordinate activities to any specific group, the resort can cater to any of your needs. The Conference Centre is completely separate from the resort (See number 2 on the bottom left of the resort map) and boasts waterfront views. It comes with its own pool and garden area, which are ideal for lunches, morning and afternoon teas. The centre can be arranged to accommodate 80 delegates in classroom style, or 120 delegates in theatre style. The room is 300 sqm and features an A shape high ceiling. Facilities include microphones, P.A. system, lectern, video equipment, overhead projector, screen, whiteboard, flipchart, fax, photocopiers, fluorescent lighting and air-conditioning. Have you
thought of having your wedding on an island resort? The relaxed atmosphere and
tranquil setting can make your special day one you will never forget. Tradewinds
function centre is the perfect setting for your wedding reception. It has a
seating capacity of 30-100 guests, has its own bar, indoor and outdoor
seating and an outdoor garden area. Your wedding ceremony can be held either in the Tradewinds garden, on the surf beach
with magnificent views or an area on the calm Broadwater side overlooking
